Import a cross section from catalog to RM-project
The cross section catalog consists of parameterized cross sections, that shapes can be adapted for the current project. If a cross section is taken over, then the used values for the variables can be modified afterward.
Note:
- For every re-calculation of the imported cross sections, the current values are set to the cross section variables and the current shape of the cross section is calculated based on the catalog cross section. That's why, these cross sections cannot be modified within the RM-project (delete or insert elements, insert reference sets, ...). If the imported cross section has to be modified or extended, then the connection to the catalog has to be deleted before. This means, that the cross section has to be defined as internal.
- For support requests, it is necessary to send both the TCL file of the RM project and the project related cross sections as an additional TCL file (see RM TCL export/Details).
